Full description
Fine detail, real paint coverage
The Uni Posca PC-3M gives you the opacity of acrylic paint in a pen you can control. The extra fine bullet tip (0.9 to 1.3 mm) is made for small lettering, outlines, patterns, and highlights, so you can add sharp detail without a brush and a palette.
The water-based pigment ink is opaque, so light colours show up clearly over dark surfaces. Once a layer is dry, you can add another colour on top without it turning muddy. The finish is smooth and matte.
Why you’ll like it
- Extra fine tip for detail work and small lettering
- Opaque ink that shows on both light and dark surfaces
- Fast drying, so layering doesn’t mean long waits
- Water-based, non-toxic, and low odour, so it’s comfortable to use indoors
- Water-resistant once dry on most surfaces
- Many colours available, so you can build a full palette
What you can use it on
Paper, cardboard, canvas, wood, glass, ceramic, metal, stone, and most plastics. It also works on fabric and shoes. Heat-set the design with an iron once it’s dry to make it more durable.
Perfect for
- Sketchbook illustration and journaling
- Adding highlights and details to paintings
- Mixed media and collage
- Hand lettering and calligraphy
- Custom shoes, bags, and clothing
- Rock painting and glass or ceramic decoration
- Cards, scrapbooking, and handmade gifts
How to use it
- Shake the marker with the cap on to mix the ink.
- Press the tip down on scrap paper until the ink flows.
- Draw, then let each layer dry before adding the next.
- Recap tightly after use and store it flat to keep the tip in good condition.
Good to know
- Test on a small area first if you’re working on a new surface.
- On smooth surfaces like glass and metal, let the ink dry fully before handling.
- Press lightly for finer lines and a little firmer for bolder strokes.
