Montana Acrylic markers
KSh 800.00
A refillable water-based acrylic paint marker with an extra fine 0.7mm tip. Opaque, matte, and highly pigmented, it draws on canvas, paper, wood, metal, glass, and more. Non-toxic, lightfast, and water-resistant once dry.
Description
Spray-can colours in a fine-tipped marker
The Montana Acrylic Marker packs the opaque, matte colour that Montana is known for into a pen you can control. The extra fine 0.7mm tip is made for detail: thin outlines, small lettering, fine patterns, and precise highlights, drawn with the coverage of real acrylic paint instead of the see-through ink of an ordinary marker.
The colours are matched to the Montana GOLD spray can range, so street artists and designers can carry a shade from a mural into sketchbook work or fine finishing details without it clashing. The paint is water-based, highly pigmented, and lightfast, and it dries to a permanent, water-resistant, abrasion-proof finish.

Surfaces it works on
Canvas, paper, wood, metal, glass, and walls. Test on a small area first if you’re using a new surface.
How to use
- Shake the marker well, with the cap on, so the paint mixes properly.
- Press the tip down on a scrap surface a few times to start the flow of paint. The pump valve controls how much comes out.
- Draw as you would with a pen, using light pressure for thin lines.
- Let each layer dry before adding another colour on top, to keep the colours clean.
- Replace the cap straight away after use, and store the marker flat.
- To protect finished work, especially outdoors, seal it with Montana GOLD varnish.
Tips for better results
- Press the tip lightly. A firm, solid tip like this one doesn’t need much pressure, and pressing too hard can flood the line.
- Don’t over-pump the valve. A little paint goes a long way, and too much can cause blobs.
- On smooth surfaces such as glass and metal, let the paint dry fully before handling.
- You can thin the paint a little with water for a softer, watercolour-like effect.
- Clean the tip with water if it becomes blocked, and keep the cap on tightly when you’re not using the marker.
- Replace the tip if it wears down. Replacement tips and refills are available.
Good to know
- The paint is matte and permanent once dry. Seal outdoor work with varnish for extra protection.
- Colours on a screen look different in person, so check the swatch on the pack.
- Keep out of reach of young children.
