Description
The finest line in the Posca range
The Uni Posca PC-1M is made for work where precision matters. The ultra-fine 0.7mm pin-style tip lets you draw tiny details, thin outlines, fine lettering, and delicate patterns with the opacity of paint, not the transparency of an ordinary marker.
The water-based pigment ink is opaque, so colour shows up on dark surfaces as well as light ones, and you can layer once each coat is dry. It dries quickly, feels smooth, and leaves a matte finish.

PC-1M or PC-3M?
The PC-1M has the finer tip (0.7mm), so it’s best for small details, thin lines, and delicate lettering. The PC-3M has a slightly broader tip (0.9 to 1.3mm), which suits fine-to-medium lines and quicker colouring. Many artists keep both: the PC-3M for outlines and areas, and the PC-1M for the fine finishing touches.
How to use
- Shake the marker with the cap on to mix the ink.
- Press the tip down on scrap paper a few times until the ink flows.
- Draw, using light pressure for the finest lines.
- Let each layer dry before adding the next colour.
- Recap tightly after use and store it flat to keep the tip in good condition.
Good to know
- The pin tip is fine and firm, so press lightly to keep it in good shape.
- Test on a small area first if you’re working on a new surface.
- On smooth surfaces like glass and metal, let the ink dry fully before handling.
